Romney Resource Centre has been working at the heart of the Romney Marsh community for more than 20 years.
In 2001, RRC became a registered charity, with a Board of Trustees providing the vision and strategy to enable RRC to be a highly successful organisation.
Our dedicated, professional and enthusiastic staff offer local people of all age’s excellent information, advice, guidance, training & education and is proud to hold ‘Good’ as rated by Ofsted for our Study Programme.
RRC has a great deal to offer the local community and beyond. As well as several opportunities to develop skills and gain qualifications, there are spaces and facilities to hire for training, conferences and meetings and there are supported incubation units available to business start-ups.
RRC tackles unemployment by providing training to help people close skill gaps, build confidence and to enhance their employability. We also support younger people to progress into Traineeships, Apprenticeships, Employment and FE through targeted learning, mentoring, work skills and work placements.
In collaboration with local and regional organisations, RRC works to provide greater opportunities for the community to improve their employability, promote greater socio-economic well-being and ensure that the Romney Marsh is a great place to live and work for generations to come.
